Decibel Audio Visual is operated by founder Abigail Graham (Resume), As an Audio Visual Technician in Washington, Abigail regularly works in a variety of theatre and performing arts settings. Decibel Audio Visual offers operation and support for the latest in entertainment industry technologies and products, including digital audio consoles, conventional/LED lights, and projection. Our goal is the flawless execution of shows and other events. We deliver quality production line-by-line, from load-in to load-out.
Abigail established her professional knowledge and experience at Evergreen State College, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Theatre and worked as an Information Office Assistant and Theatre Production Assistant. Throughout her study of lighting design, stage management, and audio production, she learned the basics of maintaining equipment and focus lighting fixtures while also gaining the critical thinking and creativity associated with a liberal arts degree. Working in this context was the foundation of her approach to event production, which emphasizes joy and innovation in each event without sacrificing quality.
Since finishing her degree, she has advanced her skills significantly in reading and understanding drawings that unveil floor plans, elevations and schematics, and welcomes the opportunity to advance my skills on the light board programming and operation. Maintaining integrity and a high professional standard are essential to Abigail’s practice and to building the Decibel AV brand. Her stage crew colleagues can attest to her consistent emphasis on workplace safety.
